I've tried updating the drivers, checking for PC updates and running the troubleshooter, but now it's worse than before The troubleshooter is no help now either, it just says "audio services not responding" when it ends. It also says my volume is low, but right now that's the least of my problems. When I plug in a device, the audio console prompts me asking what I plugged in, but in the bottom right corner where I can normally see sound it says I have nothing plugged in.
Clicking on it re opens the troubleshooter. I've tried updating and rolling back some of the drivers, but this has yielded no results. I've restarted my PC a few times during this ordeal to see if maybe I had found a solution but just had to restart to apply it, but no such luck. Either I've done something in the wrong order and that's repeating the issue or I'm completely lost. Where did you find this Audio Driver? Can I see a link to the PC or audio divide maker's Support Downloads web page where you found the driver?
