This is where the achievement viewer will be very helpful. As you should hopefully know, to open the spawn menu, press "Q".
I reccomend watching a movie or something while garry's mod is running, and repeatedly pressing "Q". You can put the window in the bottom right corner, so it shouldn't distract you at all.
Then just keep opening the spawn menu. It might take a few movies, but you get the picture. Here's the link to download Menu User Tool. You will get this Achievement done within minutes. You have to play a gamemode that isn't a sandbox game. If you have Team Fortress 2 which you should, as it is free! If not, join a multiplayer game, that isn't sandbox.
This is quite simple, just start up a Singleplayer Game. Again, self-explanatory, start up a multiplayer game, choose a server, and then join. Simply pop balloons. I recommend placing between balloons, to avoid clogging the server, and then placing dynamite to blow it up. Repeat as needed. Spawn NPCs. If you are going for War Zone, Bad Friend, etc.
Startup Garry's mod times. Not much I can say here, it's pretty self-explanatory. One of the easiest achievements in the game. Go to any map, any server, press "Y" to access the chat box, and type in "bloxwich".
Accumulating , minutes on garry's mod is going to be a challenge, and will probably be the last achievement you'll get, if you do. Make sure that the game is not paused, or the Steam Community tab is not up.
Kill Baddies. An easy way to do this is to first place a large amount of dynamite in a small area, and then spawning, say, zombie torsos, then blow them up. Rinse and repeat. When the person who is going to host the server is on the Garry's Mod main screen, click 'Start new game' and change the max amount of players in the top right to 2 players or higher unless your want to play by yourself and choose the map you want to play.
Be aware that if you select a map that is under the Deathrun or Prop hunt or any other game mode category, it will not set the gamemode to that what the map the category is in. When a player wanting to join is in the steam menu, click the arrow beside the hosts username and click 'Join game'.
Please note that if someone wants to join the game, they HAVE to be in your steam friends list. If someone else is in the game, and they are not the host, you may be able to join their session. I don't know how this actually works, I think its the option the host can turn on called 'Peer-To-Peer'. Now, you just wait until all players are in the game and your finished.
It's as easy as that. If you want to play the prophunt gamemode, look in bottom right of the home screen. There should be a button that has a hammer in it, or it should say Sandbox. Click the button, then choose the gamemode you want to play, then go back through steps and the server will have the gamemode you chose. Idk how to let it do it automatically, but make sure to do this once in a while if there's stuff you want to save in that world. Manual connection: "connect [enter ip]" in console, without quotations. Hamachi not needed anymore, and VPN should be disabled for a better connection. FWhyKay there's not really much i can do about that, i created this thread over 3 years ago and i don't even play gmod anymore.
Pike i'm not entirely sure how Hamachi works but from what i know is you guys both have to connect to the same virtual ip and i think you have to join a single-player game and type something into the console but you'd have to search it up, i honestly don't know.
